It is In Good Company’s mission to provide exceptional matchmaking services to the gay and lesbian community achieved through paying close attention to our clients’ preferences and interests, and providing outstanding customer service.  Our goal is to promote fun, excitement and a stress-free approach to our members' personal lives by providing quality introductions for them in a discreet, no-pressure atmosphere.

How We Began

While working with a heterosexual introduction service, In Good Company’s founder, Bill Rossi, realized the gay and lesbian community could also benefit from an introduction service of that type. As a professional single gay man at the time with a hectic schedule, he knew how difficult it was to meet other gay professionals.  Aware that many gay and lesbian singles were no longer interested in the bar scene and had become discouraged with online dating, he approached his associate, Carla Vaughn, with the concept.  Since Carla had been setting up her gay and lesbian friends across the nation for nearly 15 years, she also knew how difficult it was to meet quality gays and lesbians.  After conducting extensive research in both local and national markets, they discovered that an introduction service of this caliber for gay and lesbian professionals didn’t exist.  As a result, In Good Company was launched in June 2005!  One busy month later, Emily Fry was added to the team as Director, and as of June 2007 became President of In Good Company.  As IGC approaches the beginning of our fourth year in business, we’ve been overwhelmed by the support from the gay and lesbian community.  Original projections for a membership base in our first year were exceeded by 150%, and our membership continues to grow every single day.  There are numerous satisfied clients who are delving into relationships, and IGC is proud to attend its’ first client commitment ceremony in August 2008!
